The SRFD BLS Training Center is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center and offers CPR & First Aid classes for health professionals, healthcare workers, and the public.
Classes are regularly offered on Saturday mornings at the SRFD Headquarters Training Center, located at 1285 W. Camino Encanto.
Most classes are four hours in length, with costs ranging from $45 to $65. All fees include American Heart Association approved study materials.
Courses include Basic CPR with Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid, which are also available individually for $45. A Hands-Only CPR course, called “CPR Anytime,” is also offered as a one-hour class and does not include certification.
In addition, SRFD offers Basic Life Support Provider classes (formerly known as Healthcare Provider) for health professionals, including physicians, nurses, dentists, medical and dental office staff, paramedics, EMTs, and healthcare professions students.
This class is offered one Saturday each month for $65, with materials included.
